Maternity leave is over
Mommy has to go back to her job

PASSED AWAY

Taking care of me, myself and I
Going out anytime I want
Missing concerts, plays and movies
Sleeping late on the weekends
Hanging out anytime with friends
has come to an end
has passed away
Everything in my life has become new
The birth of a baby boy
has presented new opportunities and challenges
And many tasks to do
But with the guidance of God the Almighty
I will venture down the right parental avenue
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed
away; see, everything has become new! ~2 Corinthians 5:17~

INTO THE FUTURE

Into the future, I can not see
But I do have an unwavering faith
That God has great plans for my baby and me
And that is why God is whom I pledge my allegiance and loyalty.
Into the future, I can not view
But I have an unshakeable belief in God
And hopes for getting a healthy baby in March 2003 to debut
And to love with all my heart through and through.
Into the future, I can not glance
But I do have a conviction that God is real and true
His love for me is just inside of me
And baby in my belly, the proof, the evidence is You.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not
seen. ~Hebrews 11:1~

This is the day of a new baby.
This is the day of new happenings.
This is the day of new undertakings.
This is the day of new experiences.
This is the day of new adventures
At the ripe age of 33 mature.
Since this baby is my 1st, I am an amateur
Who is being guided by God and feeling secure
Through all the ups and downs of motherhood.
I will prevail; I will endure.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

My destination is Mommyville

No more of taking care of just me

I hope I will do the right things spiritually

a new place; a place called Mommy Land
Everyday I get bigger and bigger; everyday I expand
During my move, I've been reading books
and getting advice firsthand, secondhand and any way I can
Cause this baby experience I am trying to understand
A baby requires a lot of TLC and many other demands
We are anxiously preparing for its arrival
We are making many plans
God has blessed us with a baby
And our life seems to be just grand
We are so thankful and happy
For keeping us in HIS loving hand
