Am I Alone?

The country air is so sweet and clean
Grasping 'round my heart and soul.
I took a walk to smell and dream,
Over the rolling hills and creeks.
Now, I'm surrounded by fields and trees.
I am alone.

I walk into the forest.
I smell the moss-like mist,
The dampness, curling round my mind.
The emerald-like is all I find.
I really am alone.

Now it's the mountain air I smell,
The bright blue sky tells
All is well.
As far as the eye can see,
All is peace and liberty,
And my senses know,
I am not alone!

Now, I have the key,
I truly am with Thee.
